National Day of Action Against Detention and Deportation

In support of the National Day of Action against Detention and Deportation, we issued this statement once again renewing our call on the Biden Administration to make good on campaign promises to implement humane and compassionate policies such as ending collaboration with private companies running detention centers. See our Twitter post about the statement.

Digital Communications Manager Juan Prieto and Senior Community Organizer Sarah Lee participated in a banner drop in Oakland at an I-580 overpass with Dignity Not Detention and Detention Watch Network to mark the National Day of Action. See our Twitter post on the banner drop here. And check out this TikTok video about the banner drop.
